Yes the meter ok. Is 2.2 ohms too low to use without ballast resister?

Here is the part description. Im going to find a .5 ohm ballast resister. Tired of looking for new elusive aw82 tr1 coils.

Must be banging your head against the wall, same as me re coils. Just purchased the full kit from Z1. 3 coils plus all fixings and HT lead. Tested and read 2.7 ohms. Just hope its the coils and not the IC unit that gone belly up. Take a look on FAQ to help solve your problem as a lot of good info.

I have 3) .8 ohm resistors to go with these 2 ohm coils. Im done looking for coils bro.

If they are new coils and your 100% sure your multimeter is ok they must be a dodgy batch i have heard of a lot of factory seconds being put back into the market via ebay.
