Nice work Stan. I've never used and easy out that didn't break.

This was an easy one because all was clean and fresh. But I did recently do extraction of one really old and rusty one from the collector. I got a flex drill extension and had to do it at a weird angle, since it was straight from the underside of the bike. All went well, but than planning the removal of the bike, I had to remove all the exhaust system anyway! So, all this work could had been done actually comfortably on the table. But it was a good practice, no regrets.

I've broken a few extractors as well. I had no access or couldn't use a torch, or acetylene, and that would had made it much easier. It's a real 'bitch' to have a broken off extractor tip stuck in the bolt... But I also have a tool for that. Doesn't work for all though. Many times it comes down to a hammer and small screw drivers to loosen it up.
But in those extreme situations, the best bet (if you have a good eye and a steady hand) is to drill the bolt out and then first try to use tiny chisels trying to break away the remaining mesh like left over of a thread, or when you see the underlying threads, use a proper tap to re-thread the hole. It should catch the existing groves and clean everything.

In the process of preparing my bike to move I will need to use a rear wheel stand. There are many different online even on Craigslist, amazon, Fort9 etc., but hard to make up my mind.
