We're limited to 5 letters or numbers in Ontario. What I wouldn't give for 6 numbers/letters (wonder why)

We get 7 for motorcycles, 8 for cars. The special interest plates are 4.

Many years ago, when living in small town Ontario - where I knew every other biker - I noticed one spring that the bike plates were of the form ZXXXX and one morning I saw a new bike with a Z0998 plate. I immediately rode my KZ1000 to the local license bureau - and traded in my old plate for a new one and managed to snag: "Z1000".

GREAT day on two wheels today.
Started off at 6:30 and about 36*. Bike cranked right up with about half choke and warmed up.
I headed south through North Georgia and Upstate SC. After about an hour my teeth stopped chattering and it finally hit about 40*.
Got to the show at about 9:45 and got the dirt wiped off from the trip up. I met a couple interesting new people, one of which showed up on a rotary Hercules.
Most people there had never seen a KZ1300. One guy spent probably half an hour talking with me about one he used to own, and sitting on my bike a bit. He got rid of his after an unfortunate cam chain failure.
There was a mobile dyno there, and I figured for $20, it was worth knowing how much power the bike made and how it was running.
Cruise AFRs were good, in the 13:1 range. Going to WOT from 2000rpm-redline in forth produced an extremely rich (<10:1) area from 2k-5k, which leaned out to an acceptable 11.5:1-13:1 from 5k to redline.
It wound up making 92hp and 69lb/ft at the rear wheel. Not too shabby.
A small oil leak cropped up on the way back, but that's just a loose clamp on one of the valve cover nipples. I'll snug that up and wipe everything down and be back in business.
All in all, about 7 hours and 320 miles in the saddle today, all flawless. Man I love this bike.
