They go like this:

Yes, I will definitely post what my solution is. That 'cage' if perfect, I don't really want to damage it but rather find a way to use it. I placed the petcock on a heater and it became quite hot, but it didn't become loose at all..

That handle bar clamp looks beautiful, Stan. Well done.

The seal you need for the fuel tank appears to be available still:

Wow, great, so fast! Thank you biltonjim! I'l have to check the shipping. Sometimes they kill the deal with shipping.. There are some parts that cost 5 pounds or euro and shipping is 29!!! Let's see about this one

Just found out.....
€ 4,00
Sub Total € 4,00
Shipping € 27,50
Total € 31,50
Inc. VAT € 31,50

Very weird. First when you choose to purchase it says 'free shipping'. Then when it comes to paying, 27.50 ?!!!! NOTHING of this size cost this much to ship across the ocean! Not even from Australia. There has to be a way around it. Something's weird about it. I'd imagine such seals might be more common, maybe another bike's would fit. Will see..

Well, you could buy it from Partzilla, who even list them on ebay too. Shipping won't be so much from USA, surely.

If ever you find parts you need in Britain, and have difficulty getting them shipped at a sensible price, let me know and I could send them by post to you, if it works out cheaper.
