Thank you Paul,
i will have help, i will not try to do it alone, it is too heavy and i am too old, LOL
I know it will be much easier if i remove the valve cover and oil pan
but i want to try and put it in complete
let see...
for now i still have many more hours of cleaning and painting the engine
will take some pictures in the process
Thank you

I slid mine out on a piece of lumber, but putting it back in I had the luxury of a block and tackle (now installed in my garage), and with that you can easily do it on your own.
Otherwise indeed on its side would be the way to go, but you may need a second pair of hands getting the whole thing back upright! It is HEAVY!!

I like the look of your CBR. Is that your own creation?

Thank You
yes it is, put many hours into this one
start as CBR954
main part was redoing the tail section and bracket for the original speedometer
and took it apart for the powder coating
I love the look of this bike
i hope the 1300 will look even better, it will also have the street fighter look
we will know in 4-5 weeks when it all back together
