I am chasing a near complete set of brass throttle body plates for my carbs, I had them pulled out to replace the seals on the shaft but I have found that they have disappeared  Don't laugh but I think I have found the culprit but have been un successful finding them so I think I missed the boat, our mongrel puppy will eat anything that is not bolted down  He swallowed the wifes car keys a few months back and we retrieved them but was a very smelly job  This is not a joke and I do need these parts if anyone has any lying around, he ate most of the srews aswell but I managed to buy new ones this morning

Holy Cow Homer!
Sorry you had to go through all that STUFF. Listen, after the job is completed will you write up your technique for bench syncing his bowels? :woohoo:

I'll look at my collection of carb parts although I believe all I have is complete carb sets.

Reminds me of the movie Turner and Hooch. There's one clip in there where Hooch gets locked up inside a car for 5 minutes. You can guess what happened to the car when a Bull Mastiff releases its fury.

You could buy some brass plate stock and just make them up in a pinch. But if it was me, I'd be sifting through the lumps in the backyard. They'll eventually show up.

If it's any consolation, my buddy had a German Sheppard who decided to eat an Indian rubber ball and managed to swallow half of it in one gulp. It blocked its intestines and had to be operated on on a Sunday morning to save its life. The doctor's assistant wasn't available so my buddy had to rollup his sleeves and get in there with the vet. In the end it was a $3000 bill.

Good luck with the dog (and the bike of course)

Crapper's Homer, I hope he didn't eat the O-rings I sent you. If you need more, let me know.

And if you can't come up with the brass plates, I could copy and fab a set for you. (Maybe 2 sets if the dog doesn't settle down)
