This is an excerpt from page 3-10 of the zn1300 manual. So the DFI Control Unit picks up a ground signal on pins #18 , #8 and #3

Do you get any fault codes from the window in the DFI control box? (There is a lamp that gives a sort of Morse code & depending on the sequence will indicate a sensor or other component at fault).

No fault codes so far.

That would discount all sensors & the TPS for me then. How is the compression on all cylinders?

You mentioned that the fuel pressure dropped off right away when you tuned off the key? Where did it leak off? Weak pressure regulator? Leaking injectors? Back through the fuel pump? It should hold pressure for at least a few minutes.

That's a good point, maybe one fuel injector (or more) is letting-by causing the rich running & also the fast pressure bleed down when the engine's shut off.
