Yellow Perils Up-date
8 years 5 months ago
Engine just about stripped, frame stripped and ready for final sandblast at Powder Coaters then back to Black, Engine will re-paint myself not sure on silver or black yet. Removing the powder coat from both engine and frame has been a challenge but $20 worth of paint Stripper some copper brushes and about 20 hours work and all is done

What, the yellow was a bit much?
It makes my blue frame look subdued!

Yep Brandon just a hint to much of yellow, there's having a vision then a realistic one, had to stop and back track would never have been happy with the result, is going back to a black frame swingarm etc., silver engine then an Eddie Lawson Paint job on the body kit along with an Eddie Lawson seat being fitted. This was a project started by someone else that I have needed to rescue, give me 2 months and will be completed. Your blue frame is fine for what you are trying to achieve with your tracker. Now stop pissing about with it and get the job finished you been on it to long lol

Thinking of having an Eddie Lawson paintjob on mine as well ( I did actually have an original Z1100R1 when they came out )
Please keep us informed ( especially who does the paintjob )
Cheers

That looks much better! Lots of elbow grease went into that.

Mark, great result: amazing what stripper and hard work can produce.
Good choice of colour with the "Les Dawson" replica: I nearly bought one a couple of years ago: the owner had used the candy green off the ZRX1200, it looked mint.
I still regret not buying it :pinch:
