Hey everyone! I went to check out two craigs list 1300's about an hour south of me... trailer attached, ready to make a deal, about 4 months ago. Man were they rough. They have been outside under a tarp... or mostly under a tarp for many, many years... sad. Every surface is rust pitted, every bolt, every square inch... The carbs are off and the engine seized. One bike the engine is out and partially disassembled, and rusty, and seized. He wanted $1000 for both, down from $1500. I walked away... Maybe I shouldn't have, there were some salvageable parts, but in this bad of shape... I think $500 for both would be more realistic... One a 79B one an 80A (the one with the engine out and parts all over). There wasn't much good other than the 79 has a title and keys... They've been through all four seasons, with just a tarp for 10+ years... I'm sure you can all imagine what they look like... Thoughts???

A couple of ZNs...

This one is near Houston TX. Price has been recently lowered to $2000. This bike looks and sounds like you could ride it home with no issues...

This other one is a good ways North of Los Angeles. At $600 it's probably a good donor or project bike

I just LOVE those Voyager 1300's. And that restored one looks a bargain. Wish they were not so far away!

The 88's were the final year (I think) and had had factory cruise control - 87 & 88's only years with cruise control. Bit of a tank around town but a real mile gobbler on the highway.

The one in the Ad seems to have a tank from an earlier model (black colour is wrong for an 88 - I think). Still, could be a good price.

New Mexico parts bike $200. Might be worth $200 to have a look in the bins on top. Heck the fork ear you can see looks good and it's worth most of that $200 to someone...
