I have since removed the small shim-plate as I determined it wasn't required, after-all.

Hi, I have all the parts and am just getting all my duck lined up ready to start cutting.
I understand I'll need to fill out the inside of the slaves piston with a shaped piece of metal, no problem there and I'm thinking I'll 'gorilla glue' that in place.
The bit I'm uncertain with is that the adjuster screw actually screws into a piece behind the casing, and it's travel is restricted to about 3/8" maybe?
Do I just leave all that gubbins in place, remove the nut, washer and 'L' shaped lever?
Cover me guys, I'm going in
