A bit more work on the bike but not as much as I would have liked. Sorted the electrical gremlins but still have the problem with the indicators alternating from left to right when the hazard warning switch is on.
Rear wheel and diff are now bolted in place. Rear brake has been a problem as the sleeve in the master cylinder is just too far gone. Had to make a few modifications and fit a after market master cylinder. Seems to work fine.
Managed to start the bike last night but only for about a minute as no coolant in the radiator. Runs on all six cylinders but was backfiring a bit but no air box and filter in place so a bit more work to do.

Was there coolant in the engine (I hope) when you fired it up for a minute? One of the purposes of the coolant is to cool and lubricate the waterpump seal. Without coolant you could wipe the water pump seal faces to distruction.

There was a bit of coolant still in the engine. Let’s hope there was enough so as to not cause any damage.
