If memory serves me, scotch did a write-up of a slight modification he made to his main stand, with the purpose of making it easier to deploy.
Whilst here, and as we have just seen another year roll by, I wish to thank kawboy, scotch, Stan, and all those who regularly take the trouble to help folk on this forum, and in so doing, make it an interesting site to visit.

I'm caught up in some unnecessary new drama involving what else - KZ1300 parts haha! , so I am late with a private reply to you Jim., and it's half way written. Damn, these bikes keep us on our toes! haha
It's only people like you that make me want to come back and nothing else sometimes, sad to admit it. It seems like a doggy world out there otherwise. Not my thing, no false pride or competitive attitude. Well, at least I can claim to either inspire or disturb, entertain in other words, all the grown man can draw their own conclusions. Free for all! haha That's what should bloom a sprout into a flower of peace and abundance of tranquil wisdom handled by those tough grown man. I thank you for the kind words Jim, and I'll be back!

I cheat and ride the bike up onto a 2x6. Makes it a lot easier to use.

Lol. I was just about to say Raygun's idea was brilliant, but it might need a few more mods to help me get off the dang thing. Still worth looking into. Wood has got to be easier than slick ass concrete.
