measures 103mm outer 38mm center, 25mm thick across the center, 35mm across outer lip
yours 105mm outer 38mm center and 25mm thick across the center,

My new stator:
measures 93mm outer 35mm center and 20mm thick across the center, 31mm across outer lip.

Your measurement helps a lot because now I have a fair idea that my old stator wasn't just some odd spare found lying around and thrown in with fingers crossed.

What are the odds I just pulled mine out to take it for a spin and the stator is stuffed again.
I remeasured it and its the same as yours the outer is actually 105mm my old verniers were a bit dodgy.

This is hilarious. My multimeter has been out of action needing some fuses so I havn't been able to test anything. Picked up fuses today and tested my old stator and it measures 0.9 on all 3 phases and no shorts either. Tested the new stator same thing. Tested the old regulator/rectifier and it tested all around 0.437 except one which was 0.397, all others tested the obligitory zero. Then I tested the new regulator/rectifier (multimeter) and it tested faulty with 3 zeros instead of around the 0.472 mark in part of the test. SO murphy's law applies here as well.

Love that horn!!! But doesn't it come in a set of 3 trumpets?? Could really use those up here to "wake up the dead" who like to cross the line while texting on their cellphones!!!
Actually, if I could I'd put a horn on the KZ off of a locomotive. then they'd have my attention.

Damn a leading link !!!!!!!!! was going to get one on my rig, but decided not to so I can take off the chair and ride a "normal" bike if I wanted to, what brand is that front tyre ??, I am using a Dunlop D404F at present, it didn't last that long, but rear D404 is lasting very well, was going to try a Kenda on the front and see how that goes, I did find a vintage car tyre many years ago that fit the rear rim, gave me 4 inches of rubber contact on the road but was only speed rated to 80 kph (but held up to faster speeds), made it a bit harder to pick up the chair , still looking around for a car tyre for the rear, the 17 inch rim makes it hard, cheers Pete
