I've been on the lookout for one myself.
This winter I accidentally bought one of those handles for the touring model. Turned out that the B model ones and the A model ones have different attachment points for the handle so I couldn't even use it
.
If yours is a B model I'd be happy to help you out if I could get some of my money back

Regarding the center stand, honestly the higher up you can get your bike before putting the stand down the better. When I bought my bike and the suspension was shot I couldn't get it on the centerstand unless I had 2 other ppl helping. Once I aired up the forks it turned into a one person affair lol! Try putting the back tire on a wooden plank or elevate it some other way that will probably give you just enough clearance to eliminate the tough part of the process
