I am looking for a rear wheel lift stand for my 1985 1300 Voyager and would appreciate some suggestions.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Neither of my bikes has a center stand. One of the previous owners must have removed them; no clue why. When I change the engine oil, the pan will barley fit underneath it and basically makes a big mess.

Yes, thanks for the electrical diagram. It will come in real handy as I get all the gremlins away.

Maybe somebody took the centre stands off to have them powder coated then never got around to putting them back on (seems crazy to me considering oil and tire change needs). The voyager stands are weird two stage affairs. I've used one of those small motorcycle scissor 'jacks' under the front rails to get the front wheel off the ground for a tire change - not sure it'd work for an oil change but would probably work for getting rear wheel off the ground too.

Have to laugh... that stand on Amazon.ca is $450 - I think I paid $40 for mine (exactly the same) on sale from Princess Auto. For $450 you could buy a full motorcycle table lift .
