Rear wheel lift stand?

The oil rig will not fit in my garage and the scissor jack is a bit out of my budget, but thanks anyway.

I found someone with a center stand locally and will go look at it this evening. He wants $10.00 for it and he has some other stuff I may be interested in. When you say it is a weird 2 stage affair, what does that mean? I am short (5-5) and getting up there in years (I am 66), so does the 2 stage affair make it easier for someone like me to use it? I do not have an owners manual for my bikes to see how to use it. My other bikes (Harley's and Indian) do not have a center stand, I just use an el-cheapo Harbor Freight lift underneath them and step on the jack a few times. But, with the Voyager a lift like that would crush the pipes. I have a CBX-1000 with a center stand, but the guy I bought it from says using it is a royal pain in the butt and he is a big dude.

original center stand for Voyager?
it is a two step stand, there is a video somewhere here how to use it
I couldn't use is after I change the front end, the bike is way too low and heavy.

If they guy ask $10 for the original center stand, take it
make sure it come with the springs, I think 3 of them and the screws
and the stands is actually two pieces
I see them on ebay $30-$75 + shipping, but don't think they are complete

Yes, the two stage design make it easier to use. But it's all relative. It's still a really heavy bike - but it's easier to get up on it's centre stand (even when loaded) than say a CB900F which weighs about 60% of what the voyager weighs. One problem I have though is that if the 1st stage is not deployed properly, it can 'kick' out while deploying the second stage which can be a bit unnerving when corralling a 900 pound bike.

Personally, I wouldn't rely on nor trust a "rear wheel" stand. The bike is too top heavy if lifted that low.
Using the center stand is safer.
On the opposite end: Made this last night. Easier then using a jack. Once lifted I (can) place a jack-stand under each side of the crankcase.
The "Positive Camber Mass Inertial Dampers" :woohoo: fit nicely into the lift arms.

Will you be manufacturing those then Scotch? Can you supply them in Kawasaki colours please?

I had wondered if the type of front lift that goes into the headstock "bum-hole" would work with our bikes for front end work

Sorry, not making them ! Kawasaki paint is too expensive ! Not familiar with the Bum-Hole type
