Nice finds stan !! The rare cam-cover that I found without the reed boxes and was in excellent condition, took me no less then 60 hours to polish - mostly by hand. Used a Dremel and several sizes of wheels to do the final finish on the sides, all around the bolt bosses. Turned out beautifully but wouldn't do it again !

Got another selection sorted out. All mounted on the frame section I got from Paul. Seat lock with proper Kawasaki key that matches the ignition switch :)

Sucks I will have to weld this and more on the frame, but I really count my blessings having these pieces!

I decided to weld the whole frame section instead of cutting off individual brackets and welding them one by one.

Pictures for reference for anyone trying to figure out what goes where and how it's mounted in this area.

Missing some fuses and wondering why while the cover says 10 Amps the installed were 15? Is this a 'mod' I've never heard of? Well, I'll be installing the main at 30 Amps as recommended, and wonder if anyone could fill me in about the 10 or 15 Amps issue. The auxiliary extra power output box, which comes with a s[are fuse, has all of them at 15 Amps. Should I change all 10 Amp fuses to 15?

Different angle views for reference. Feel free anyone if you want anything in more detail.

The controls are fully serviced and work perfectly. Another part of the puzzle ready to install when the time comes. I will leave any detailing for later.

A mock up on a spare set of forks and triple tree (this is what I have been collecting to make a KZ1300 from scratch, one washer and a screw at a time).

Speedo, pilot lamps, ignition switch - all in check! :)
