i also remember some bikes had a rubber cap that fitted over the tube, i gonna look for some of those as well.


I originally got 3 brass nipple things for mine, they were proper z13 ones (later model I think), and then ordered some silicone caps for the 3 nipples, all worked well, and glad your running well now, and just think of how much you now know about 13's and carbs, you'll be your local expert :-)
after tuesday even the calendar goes WTF

My friend made a nipple for me out of a bolt. He used a mini lathe to drill the center and smooth the threads so it would fit the hoses.

I have no fears of taking those carbs apart again... except for the damn airbox boots.
