Don't rule out the ballast resistor. It's a triple in parrallel resistor. Just ensure all three ballasts are good. Remember that the resistor is out in the open and heats up a stainless wire which will cause it to oxidize and it's forty odd years old. I always look for the obvious and most likely first.
Did you by chance try moving the pink wires around to see if the coil problem moved to a different coil?

I replaced the ballast resistor with 3 individual ballast resistors and I checked continuity across all three individually. I ohmed out the wire harnesses coming out of the wire harnesses on the igniter while disconnected from the wire harness, and although the ohm readings were not dead on, they were all uniform, which tells me tho my cheapo voltmeter isnt quite calibrated to the tenth ohm, the fact that they are all identical to tje decimal, i am less apt to think its the igniter. What am i missing???? Lol ive seen all the coils spark on the blye wire. All i need is to get the green and black coils to spark. GOD IM SO CLOSE!!

Also yes, i rotated pink wires. Originally i connected the black coil to the pair blue/pink and it sparked. I also left it connected to the pink wire thats paired with the black, and connected to the blue and it still fired.

I think I found it. Looks like its the pickup coils after all. I run Ohms to the lG/dG pins on the pickup coil side connection and get .4xx @ 1k ohms. I dont get a reading on the other pairs.

I think scotch mentioned that the pick up coils are common to other models. I’ll try to find the post in which he talked about this.
