I should have started this thread a year ago. well here is the story. I bought the bike about 15 years ago. I say bike but it was actualy a bunch of cardboard and plastic bins. I did'nt even got a rolling chassis. The guy who sold me the bike told me that everything was there. Yeah sure I believed him:blush:

After a full year of pain and suffering and some more pain, I can actually say that I'm making progress.
The major problem was to source all the missing parts. All the major parts were there but there was always some missing componants. Just to illustrate the cam cover was there but missing the tachometer gear, there was a tach cable but not the right one. I do beleive that you know that the cam cover is the least of was of my ploblem.

I'm still sourcing parts but I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. If that is a good thing?

Here are a few pics.

I'm not much of a photografer. the fist one shows a pactial view of what a mess the bike was in.
And a few pics of the bike as of tonight.
