Front brake master cylinder
1 day 18 hours ago
How many holes should my master cylinder have in its reservoir base? I purchased one from ebay and it only has one hole in it, and I cant get any brake fluid to the brakes!,I believe it should have 2 holes in it but do not have the original to compare it with. it does have what appears to be another hole that has been filled? I've honed out the sleeve and re-furbished the piston etc so all that is good, but when I squeeze the lever ....nothing no fluid whatsoever.

I did a search in the old posts and found a pic showing 2 holes in the master cylinder. They appear to be different diameters.

Just make sure you remove the burr that the drill will leave in the cylinder bore, otherwise you'll cut the lip on the plunger u-cup.
