Niuice job on the rad. Can't wait to see the finished product. Now are you going to mount the 1300 engine on that 2 wheeled scooter in the background? If so, I think you'll have to move the side stand. I think it's going to be in the way of the exhaust pipes

 here is the tank in green. It is not perfect because I am not a sprayer, also I have had some really bad luck with flies landing on it straight after spraying(twice) . They seem to love the colour and come out of nowhere. This tank has just had its first flatting off and already I have found a couple of paint defects. I am going to leave it as is because it is at least good enough sort of. I am also not totally sure that the colour is exactly what I was after- I guess it could be that it needs pin stripes or some other colour breaking design however,I have absolutely no design or artistic flair so Am just asking as many people as possible as to their views and suggestions.

Just a thought, I know there was a bit of a fracas last time it was posted on the forum, but I think the Eddie Lawson stripes would work well with that base colour. I see you are also UK based: I know guys that have used "The Image Works" for bespoke decals / stripes: Check out lnk

Flies must have fresh paint seeking radar. Same thing happened to me when I was painting mine.

When the weather gets colder I am going to redo my paint. No effing flies.
