Howdy From Dave
9 years 10 months ago
Hello to everyone and thanks for letting me in! I am the proud owner of a 1980 KZ-1300B in very fine condition. I have owned the bike (along with a few other bikes) for over ten years. It has taken me from my home in Iowa to lots of great places including Chattanooga, TN twice, Wilmington, NC, Springfield, IL and Evansville, IN a few times! What a fine machine. Too bad that Kawasaki doesn't support this vey fine example of motorcycling!!! I will try to attach a photo. Dave

Oh, NO! I'm so sorry, Dave! I got drool all over that bike! Oh, well, I guess you'll just have to bring it down here to me to clean it up! Of course, I'll need to spend some time on it to be sure it's running fine, too!
When the weather warms up and I get my clutch replaced, we'll have to meet and cruise. I have a step-brother in Muscatine, and family in Eldridge.
Absolutely beautiful bike! Mine is an '85 Voyager.

Welcome aboard Dave that's 2 very fine machines there. It has set me wondering if there is anybody out there who has a complete set of 6s. Kawasaki, Honda Benelli and BMW. Now there is a dream to aspire to.

Welcome to the group Dave....and all I can say is....that's a walk down memory lane there !.....I remember back in that era, taking the dealership truck up to Kawasaki midwest in the winter time ....and bringing back a portion of our dealership 's inventory back. and gettin out the ol' allis-chalmers forklift ,and un-loading all of those crated brand new treasures.... assembling them ....shining them up ...and heading for the show room floor ! !....I was a POOR lad back then ....and could not afford such luxuries, as what I worked on every day ! but I'don't have the bike you posted a pic of ....but ....if comes my way ....I WILL ! ! At this point... my wife of over 30 years ,has given up on trying to "throttle me" ,and as long as I pay all the bills and have the coin... I have her permission to add yet another bike to the stable ! here is a pic of my 30 year old treasure...Tony
