Hi everyone, I'm looking for a fuel tank petcock and I am having the worst time finding one. Does anybody know where I can find one or at least something that will work?
Thanks

Suzuki GS 1000
petcock.
I have used a Suzuki vacuum valve and it works for me.
I emptied a grease nipple and placed it on the intake manifold.

Does it mount right up like the original or do I have to figure something out to get it to work?
Thanks for your help, I've been struggling for months trying to find a solution.

I eliminated the fuel solenoid valve and the housing was the same as the original valve, (44mm between screw holes).
The vacuum tube connected to the intake manifold and the fuel outlet tube to the carburetors.
When you turn off the engine, the petcock closes automatically.
To start the engine after being stopped for a few days, place the key in the PRI position.
Once the engine is running, return the key to the ON position.
I have placed a clamp to secure the tube and prevent leaks.
Also a floating filter between the tank and the carburetors, my tank had quite a lot of dirt.
