Timing chain tensioner missing
1 year 6 months ago
I've had my first quick look over the rolling basket case that is my 1979 A1, and a couple of obvious things are missing, Timing chain tensioner (part # 12049-1007) and the left hand reed valve cap (part #11012-1107), does anyone know of any for sale here in Australia?

APE makes manual timing chain tensioners. I have one, works great. EzPz. Hard to go wrong.

I think that the part number Burto has quoted is the tensioner for the chain that drives the ignition rotor on the 1979 model. Referred to in the parts list as a timing chain tensioner, as distinct from the cam chain tensioner.
