Looking for a seat

Seat or just the base. I can clean it, paint etc. as long as it's in one piece. Preferably in Canada and a good deal

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationHave you looked at these? They appear to be a good replica. No base included. but you can get those elsewhere.
For some reason I can't post the ebay link, but if you search :

Thank you Biltonjim. In anticipation of getting an old seat in any condition, I just purchased that yesterday! But it's not a seat, just the cover. I still need a real seat to go with it. The most important is the mounting base, or whatever it's called. Then I can pad it with sponge and shape it to fit this cover. The MCG in Germany has a plastic replica for 160 Euro, it's a bit much and besides I am hoping for an original one.

Yes, that's right. It's kind of difficult to maintain a communication continuum with the source, so I am still actively searching for one. I would never pass an opportunity riding this bike on a rolled up blanket, but it would be so much more enjoyable on an actual seat! :woohoo:

Stan, don't know if you got your seat sorted (I know this is a 5 month old thread, but just in case)
Just thought I'd say that around the same time I found a complete 2nd hand seat in the US and had shipped over to UK, I also had a reply from a UK restorer who can make the complete seat, including new steel base, for around £250 (Sterling) which seems pretty damn good as the bases are impossible to find over here.
I can forward the details if you need.
