can i ask what it is off, looks like you can get new?

re the Gs1100 tap do i need vacuum line?
mine came without a tap so have no reference (1980) also have been poking around the bike and cant find any vacuum lines not attached!

sorry to hear about the new issues i must confess after reading a lot of the stuff in this site has left me quite worried
im not much chop with electrics can see myself spending quite a bit at Auto lecys.
the GSX tap any year particular?
also does it have a Vacuum line attachment
was reading Ray guns remarks mine came without a tap so have no reference (1980) has a round screw in unit on other side of tank, im assuming Fuel sender unit.

If you have a vacuum operated petcock, then you'll need a vacuum line. All I did was use a tee off of the vacuum lines that go to the exhaust air injection system or whatever it is, you can also use any of the spots where you check the vacuum when syncing the carbs.
