Big bore kit with cylinders and head

I've decided to sell my big bore kit. I was thinking of holding on to it and bolting it on the new motor next year but why go through more aggravation? This new engine works well and the compression is great.

Included is the 6 x 64 mm piston kit, bored and honed cylinders, and the reworked head. New valve seals, seats ground and cleaned up, valves cleaned up and ground. I'm not sure what else they did but there was no aggressive porting etc.

The valves have to be shimmed. The mechanic was to look after that but I fired him before he could break anything else. It does not include the valve cover.

Both the head and cylinder block have been partially stripped and cleaned up. When this thing with my mechanic blew up I stopped working on it.

I'm asking $1500 US + shipping for it all. If you think I'm nuts speak up and tell me what it should be worth, higher or lower. All I'm trying to do is recover some of my costs. The kits are $600 USD and the machining cost me $1150 including tax CAD so the way I see it your getting the block and head for free.

I can provide any detailed pics you want via email. Sometimes the board doesn't let me post pics so I'm happy when 1 or 2 get up.

Get it advertised on ebay etc, your honesty on here about problems with a shitty mechanic will put people off but the parts are good and worth good money..someone needs them to get going!

My shitty mechanic only took the head and cylinder block off the bike. He had nothing to do with the machining.

The machine shop that did the work is world class. Despite being up here in the middle of nowhere they build Nascar and NHRA engines for people all over the world.
