Ignition switch
8 years 11 months ago
Man, I hope I am posting in the right place. I am not good with technology. Is the ignition switch for the KZ1300 prone to failure? I just purchased mine a week ago. I have a new, fully charged battery on it and I get nothing through the switch. Does anyone have a spare that they could part with? Also, I am converting my B to an A, so I will be selling the box, bags, fairing, floor board pegs, (front and back) and that giant chrome what ever it is wrapped around the rear end. Actually, I prefer to trade for stuff I need, but any responses will be considered and appreciated.
Big thanks.

Were you aware that there is a second switch under a back corner of the left side cover? Insert the ignition key and turn it clockwise to the horizontal position.

Did the same myself when I bought last year..took the bloody switch to bits and decided it was ok before I realised, had 6 of them in the 80's but didn't remember the simple answer :S Either never locked myself out or just had too many acid to remember
