Timing advancer and gear needed

In the process of taking the engine apart I ended up breaking the timing advancer and gear.

Part numbers are 16085-1009 and 21148-1008.

Does anyone have a source for these? My supplier says on backorder which means not in stock and probably never will be. I can take them out of spare motor but would prefer to have new.

Anyone have a source for these parts?

I thought I could save myself some grief since I have a complete spare bike for parts. Too bad the spare is an 81 and as you all know the ignition system different than the other KZ1300 motors. So the parts I need don't exist on the spare motor... or rather they are different or in a different location.

However, when I look online at the part numbers it says that they both fit 79-81 A1, A2, A3

I'm very confused. My 81 doesn't even have the cover on the right side where this is found under. Is it the same part in a different location?

I purchased that timing advancer from that Ebay link, Tonto. Thank you! A little overpriced but what can you do when there aren't many around?

I'm still looking for the timing advance gear. That ebay sellers didn't have one, I asked.

Is it possible that the timing advance gear lurks somewhere inside my 81?
