It was brought in in 1985..........see below.
I remember now as 1985 was the year the Vmax was launched at 145BHP and could not be imported into France...........so they made a 100BHP model in later years (which was pretty crap). !

Thanks Pete. Thought my red bike as quick as the others.

I remember France had to revoke it (in 89 I think) as the EU Commission said it was against other common EU legislation: Not often you get a good outcome following EU intervention :evil:

Bike appears to have same air filter as the other 4, and throttle goes all the way. Goes as quick as the others. If never came in until 1985 it makes sense these missed the aggro.......Vmax copped it instead...................
