Personally i would try using a direct power source to the ballast resistor if your still running one .
If that works work your way back through the harness.
If not you have eliminated wiring issues to that point and it lies in your ignition system.

I like Scotch's line of attack. Personally, I'd get out the wiring diagram and go through each connection and verify. typically, I photocopy the wiring diagram and blow it up to 300-400% then get it laminated. Then you can take a water based marker and highlight each connection as you find it and verify it clean. Resizing it bigger makes it easier to follow and laminating it allows you to temporarily mark it up. Once you're done with this fix you can clean it up for the next time you need it.

Hi Guys.
Some very good ideas, plus have a large schematic already so this w/end while the wifes away :woohoo: Shall try and sort and keep you all posted.

Wrong picture ! I wanted "Float" as in brass Float, not the "float" position on the A/C Step" !
