Welp, the t30 failed. As did a spiral screw extractor. That thing is nice and rounded... next step is to weld a nut to it... but that is a real shit spot to weld to... and it's not like I have a nub sticking out... hmm...

Soldering or brazing a bolt in may be the way to go. I dont think welding is gonna do here

I'm going to suggest that the plug was put in with Loctite as a thread sealer and some heat would have gone a long way to help with the removal. Seen it too many times so when I get a stuck bolt or screw, the first thing I pull out is the propane torch. Last thing you need is a cracked casing especially around the main oil gallery. Not an easy fix.

Oh trust me I used heat. That plug is hella stuck in that hole... also it's a super soft steel. Rounds out really easy.
