A5 refurb

I think there are two types of headlight fork ears - long and short. Long for forks not connected, short (like my A4) connected. Having original ears would be a good indication what one has. Plus - holes in the fork tubes present or not.

Neither of my 2, 79's have crossover tubes for the forks from the factory.

There might had been two types, as with the cam covers.
