Such was the kick of the engine when starting that I was caught off guard.

In dirt bike parlance, we call that 'Whiskey Throttle'... when your body is too far back, arms are extended, throttle is Wide F'n Open, and you're along for the ride!

We have been together for almost 40 years.

It has been a week since the accident, the pain is subsiding very slowly, I never thought that a broken rib caused so much pain, yesterday a sneeze escaped me and I ended up on the floor writhing in pain.

Today I received the parts used to replace the damaged ones.

The front wheel has come from Germany, it looks good.
 

 

 

It was supplied to me by the folks at  GLOBALMOTOPARTS
They have a good assortment of used parts for all types of motorcycles at a good price.

 

I found the electronic ignition and its bracket in Australia at a good price from a private seller.
I didn't think it would get to me so quickly from the other side of the world.
 

I'm still going to take a while to ride the bike, I don't have a new visit to the traumatologist until next week, I feel weak, I had trouble opening the spare parts packages, I'm still on painkillers and muscle relaxants every four hours.
