No, most likely it will take weeks to get here from overseas, what with Covid and all.
I have little doubt the new thermostat will make any difference, as I've tried two new in box NOS on the bike. And both t-stats worked perfect on stove top in pan of water.

It would be useful if you could accurately measure the new stat when it arrives and post the dimensions in a post on here. I can't help but think Kawasaki didn't use a readily available automotive stat, from say a Mitsubishi or similar. If the alternative type can be identified it could be very useful.

Perhaps.. but how to measure closed vs open dimensions? Let me think on this...

I was thinking of dimensions like these with possibly the addition of a fully open length.... in boiling water measure with calipers.
