Too rich

If the throttle slides don't fall under gravity, then there's a problem and likely the diaphragms are hardened. I bought these  KZ1300 diaphragms from Legend Motorcycles  . At the time the locator tab on the outer diameter wasnot in the proper position so in order to use these, I had to cut off the tab. I informed Ledgend that there was a problem and they may have since corrected. The diaphragm material is really subtle and the slides fall really nice.

"The slides seem sluggish to drop when raised by hand."

This not unusual and is typically due to fine scratches on the slides and bore.  Easily solved by polishing them.  A Dremel with a polishing wheel and a lite compound deals with the bore.  Use discretion with the slides so as to not remove the anodized surface.  

Hi everyone, has anyone tried the diaphragms Helmut sells on z1300.de? They cost a bit more, but the delivery times would be significantly better. He also has the cut-off valves there.
