I doubt any valve could sustain a positive seal with repeated on/off cycles grinding the internal surfaces with particulate, if allowed to get into the valve.
Fuel Valve ????
Whats that................where's that ???????
Please explain ?

I'm thinking Scotch was referring to the pic of the Pingle petcock that has a nice filtering screen that's attached to the Pingle and resides inside the tank. In an earlier post, Scotch stated the oem fuel valve leaks after contaminates have created scratches, leak paths, in the sealing contact areas.

"Taps" are what we Canadians have on the outside of our house to water the plants and wash our cars.
But does "fuel-valve" really have to be explained ?

To continue on with original thread...
2021-01-10 Fuel Delivery, Inner Fender, Spark Plug Readings..
Saw a great post on KZ1300 from another rider who re-positioned the Pingel to point straight back then flow direct into carb inlet.
I think this will work... Hose clamps for FI systems are better than 'standard' clamps.. even for gravity feed systems...
With this, good and peaceful night to all.
