Well I got a little more done today with a view to a test ride after 10 years idle.
It fired up relatively easy and held good revs.
Suddenly I noticed a stream of fuel under the bike when running.
I immediately shut down and turned the fuel off and continued to watch a steady stream of fuel flow out as the airbox empties.
What do we think this may be caused from?

The carbs don't have an overflow and when they flood it runs into the air box or the engine.
