1982 KZ1300 rescue and rebuild

Hey guys. Would these work?

1979-83 KAWASAKI KZ1300 KZ 1300 NGK SPARK PLUG RESISTER CAPS

I followed the imprint patterns on old surfaces to match and I assembled all in the same order. It just made me wonder seeing those two connections going very low in the middle. I'd think I'd be hiding wires but maybe that's what it is, considering it all be covered and out of direct rain? That's what seems to be the case.
No bulbs at the Canadian Tire. Lordco next stop - two 1157 light bulbs that is what goes there, unless someone could fill me in on an upgrade.

What about. the Led equivalent. I've seen those in Cdn Tire

The guy there told me nothing else will fit those sockets when I was looking for alternative. I will check again. I am a bit cautious though with even such small changes because I've never had this bike running and would prefer first simply get everything original like for easier possible trouble shooting if something doesn't work. Electrical system is not my strong side. I'm not exactly sure what the details were, but I remember some guys saying things worked different when switched to Led on other type of bike. I think it had something to do with blinkers? Maybe I am mixing something up, but vaguely I remember something like this.

Quite often changing out the incandescent bulbs for LED's reduces the ampereage draw on the circuit and causes the flasher to stall out and not blink. Some swap outs marry a resistor inline with the LED's to draw more power and then the flasher will work. Some research would be necessary here if you do decide to go with the LED's.

Swap in an electronic flasher to fix the blinker problem when using LEDs - no need to add resistors.

No flasher problem with the tail lights however. The problem is you'd really need to use RED '1157' LED replacements and that's not ideal for illuminating your license plate - not sure how much of an issue this is in practice. You could try white LED's but due to the way white light is 'made' with LED's you may find not much light makes it's way through the red taillight lens (MFRs recommend using LEDs that are the same colour as the lens).
