i found someone in California with a thermostat cover old stock but they wont ship to UK. cant see why.
everything else appears to be serviceable. Oz at Zed Parts has gaskets and seals
Oh and i just need an old frame to cut up LoL

Ian, not sure if its of any use, but about a week ago I saw a Z13 Water Pump, cover, impeller and other associated bits up for sale on DK motors eBay site; "twowheelspares". Cant recall which model year it was, as I was looking for something else (for a CBX), but usually have a look at their assorted Z1300 bits and bobs: sometimes they have a rare item or two.

thats enough taking it to bits, time to start putting it back together, the frame tubes were clean and free from rust internally.
doner frame from Mark In Torquay Thank you , just got to make up a few dowels to insert into the tubes
then i can start welding it back together
powder coaters booked for next week.
