I repair the motorcycles at home, in my free time, what was previously my children's playroom at the back of the garage I have converted into a small workshop with all kinds of simple tools and a small compressor.
I live surrounded by neighbors, I usually go to the workshop after dinner until after midnight, at that time I cannot make much noise at the risk of receiving screams from my family or neighbors.
P.S. my lips are fine.

I grow vegetables in fields near the city, I don't have a farm but I do have a warehouse where I keep the tractors and the rest of the machinery, there I have a complete professional workshop to be able to repair major breakdowns.
How are your lips now? Perhaps consider the purchase of a small compressor for blowing passages clear -
it would be safer and more effective!

Here in Spain I use Wallapop but I always try to talk to the seller on the phone or go see the product if it is close to me.
On EBAY I found a pair of airboxes in the UK but I was not convinced by the price or their appearance.
As proof, I can tell you that this week I received a fuel tap that opens with a membrane, the Amazon seller assured me that it would adapt to the KZ 1300 but that is not the case, our motorcycles have a distance of 44mm between the fastening screw holes and the What I received was 35mm.
I did not return it because it fits the KZ 650 that I own and I will keep it as a spare, now I am trying to rebuild the old part on my motorcycle.

I am reluctant to buy used items online.Just had a look at EBay.com (USA) and there's 12 listings for air boxes. Complete upper and lower for $ 45 US plus shipping. Not too bad in my opinion.

This may help. Scotch did a rebuild of the stock fuel valve with a good write up.

I just bought this one on Amazon, it's from Suzuki but the distance of the holes matches at 44mm.

FIRST RIDE.
Today, Saturday, was the day, in the afternoon I installed new spark plugs, I installed the tank along with a new battery and I decided to test the bike.
With 10 liters of gasoline in the tank, when I opened the fuel tap I saw that gasoline was leaking through the airbox drain, lucky that when I dismantled it I cleaned the outlet hole clogged with dirt.
I tapped the float bowls a few times and fuel stopped leaking.
It started well, I adjusted the idle screw a little, the clutch was a little noisy and abrupt when inserting first gear, we left.
After a couple of traffic lights on the open road, the revs rise very well, the odometer does not work, I will look at the cable another moment.
I travel a couple of kilometers and stop to the side, the idle is a little high and I regulate it again.
I spend a few minutes accelerating and seeing how the bike reacts, the temperature gauge has the needle on the right side, the right muffler continues to smoke, although not as much as when starting.
I resume driving and the temperature drops, after a while the engine begins to fail, as if it were drowning, I also lose some cylinders along with explosions on both sides, I turn around, it seems to recover a little but when I decelerate it fails again, the The motorcycle ends up stopping a few meters from the house.
Now it's leaking more fuel through the airbox, I close the tap and I can't start it anymore.
I've come to this point.
My mechanical knowledge ends here, next week I will talk to my mechanic and I will take it when I have time, a checkup carried out by a professional will tell me how the motorcycle is.
