it was a sunny day here so got the bike out for my first test ride, did a few laps round the block
rides very nice, falls into the corners a bit at slow speeds, nothing worse than the Vmax
Rear brake is total crap, gonna try some EBC hardcore pads
just need to find some badges for the side panels.

Thanks Todd
I had already done a lot of work before i found the forum so it looks like a lot has happened in a short time.
had the engine fully stripped for a month trying to find a primary chain and having the crank reground.
it was certainly worth the wait, hope its nice on Saturday for the MOT test.

First ride out yesterday Sat 29 March.
visited the MOT man, passed with a few warnings.
then round the corner to show a friend the bike in one piece, then another friend that wasnt in.
decided to head for home got to within a mile just leaving the duel carriageway and the bike died.
carbs flooding when upright, petrol tap really stiff to operate.
had to bring the old girl home in the back of a van, very undignified.
ill get the carbs of today am expecting loads of crud.
other than that it was a lovely day to ride the bike.
