What can I say?? WOW !! Very Nice.
Image 22 - Peaked my interest in the mods to the wheels and mono shock on the rear. I've looked at similar wheels but the triple spokes would have been tipped forward. Yours look proper tipped back. How did you accomplish this?
Image 24- Love the decal work and impeccable paint work. I would imagine a cut and buff was done after painting. Whoever did the paint is a perfectionist. Kudos !!
Last but not least, Where's the pic of you and the wife 30 years after Image 131 ?? I pray to God you're still not that skinny. I married the wife 30 years ago when I was 165 LBs and fit in a size 40 suit. 30 years and Voila !! size 54 suit and 260 lbs. I don't look that big for 260. My guys at work use to say " I didn't know that they could compress shit that tight" Doc says I have to lose 90 lbs. I said "but I ride a KZ1300 !!"

Finally got a few hours to myself and finished off the APE cam tensioner install using Kawboys instructions from earlier in this thread.
Was pretty easy but swear you need double jointed kids hands to get at the coil mount nuts to get the cam cover off.
Still waiting on cam cover gasket to arrive so i can reassemble, also gave the covers a lick of alum VHT.
Also started rebuild of front MC. Pretty ugly.
Soooooo clean inside. Couldn't believe it.
Mmmmmmm, chunky.
More of the same.
Bit cleaner now, still needs a good run through the ultrasonic and fresh seals.
Is the hole on the LH side blind or a through hole? I didn't have any fine enough wire handy to check.

That hole is necessary or the pressure builds up and clamps the calipers to the disc as the fluid heats up.

Just to clarify, this is the hole I was talking about. Can you confirm that this is a through hole as well?
