I tried to post with a cut and paste from my CandyButt.org website but no success. I also post often to fjrforum.com but could not cut and paste here.
So I'm sorry, but will need to link you to my CBA site. I hate 're-directs' and hope someone here can help me... but I'm not going to re-format to post here. Hope that doesn't sound harsh because I have nothing love for this site. It has been critical for the rebuild of Quacker..
So here we go - the first ride on a fresh re-build...

wondered what happened to you. tried to visit
www.candybutt.org
a few times and the site was reported down. I was trying to follow your build. Always appreciate the work people do on their full rebuild. All experiences shared are lessons learned.
Thanks for sharing. Glad to here you're happy with the end result. That's the icing on the cake.

Ahhh, I love the pics, I love the story. Exactly what you need at around 0°C and tons of salt on the road in Switzerland. No Way I can move her these days.
Never saw the fairing you have in my live, it is very 80's and a sepcial dress for her.
Please give her all your love (yes, I read the text and you did already)
Thanks for sharing.

Great pix and story! In a couple of pix it looked as if the bike were looking at the "blocked" bridge as if to say, "Hmmm! Should I just DO IT?".
I wouldn't worry about using black fuel line since it isn't visible in any of your pics. Personally, I think the black would go better with the other colors on the bike anyway.
And, you sure do have some nice country to ride in around S.L.O.! When I lived in So. Cal. I used to ride around there a lot. Had friends that lived there, too. Solvang is great to ride to for lunch and to shop, too! What's the name of that little restaurant the has a steak as big as a big plate? I ate the whole thing once! JUST once! Never again!
Your pix make me wish I was still living out there! So many great places to ride!

Nice and story - thanks for posting.
Enjoy that KZ13 in that mild weather and those dry roads: deeply envious as (Holger said in his post) here in northern Europe its perma wet, cold and gray, and has been for months.
Cheers Tim
