Keeping it standard Tim, with the few upgrades CCT and check the plastic wheel inside.
at least i wont have any floats to worry about and flooding issues.

Yes, good luck with your project. This model was certainly the pick of the naked bikes. Most of the useful upgrades were working well compared to the naked bikes sold here in North America- large oil window on the clutch cover, fuel injection, large oil pan, horn cover and re- arrangement of other engine covers to make servicing easier. Probably what the bike should have been in 1979.

this poor old girl has certainly been standing for a while.
might have to get the tank steamed out its a horrible mess inside, god knows what the injectors will be like.

that is some nasty looking stuff.injectors and hoses and fuel pump will likely be the same.6cylinder went through this same thing recently.he said an ultrasonic jewlery cleaner works nicely on the injectors.i am looking at the same thing on one of my bikes.12 year old fuel.ugh. good luck. pat

Do you mind saying how much it was? It can be usefull to know going rates in the UK for 13s of varying conditions.
