i bought my first Z1300 A5 2 years ago in boxes and it needed a complete overhaul, the big ends had gone, the tank had rotted through, it was a complete mess with parts missing. that cost me £900.
this one is the ZG1300 injected, its a bit better and nearly complete just been neglected for years, i paid £2000 for it.
probably a bit over the top but i wanted it. if i spend £1500 on it, it should be a £6000 bike.

The going rate can be what you want to pay and how much you want it.charlie9670 wrote: Do you mind saying how much it was? It can be usefull to know going rates in the UK for 13s of varying conditions.

Found more horrors today
The front mudguard has seen better days
charging issues hmmm
someone has been here before
the exhausts had grown onto the down pipes, after an hour i decided to peel them off
and the biggest horror was this one, this shot is looking up at the rear shock mount
from the swing arm, a little bit of corrosion me thinks.

I have to agree with you ! about finding MORE HORRORS ! We used to say " the more I look ...the more I find WRONG" this is as bad as it may get ! TIME, PATIENCE, and MONEY ,,,are the 3 ingredients
needed here ! Good luck with this project ,and keep up on the update posts ! .......................Tony

Wow: I've taken on some difficult ones, but that does look like a challenge  good luck with her : I'm sure she'll look a lot better in a few months time - be good to see how you move her forward.
Just a thought, but I was about to pop this mudguard on evilBay; its off my z13, its in excellent condition, no dints, or rust - paintwork is virtually unmarked, save for 3 pin head size chips and 1 tiny scratch - which you cant see when on the bike, lines are not decals but painted in. Might not tell on the pic, but it has the rear flip at the back of the guard so must have been from a "touring" before finding its way onto my A1.
If its of any interest or want some more pics, just send a PM.
Cheers Tim
