1983 ZN1300 Street build. was created by Nick89
About two month ago I started this build on a 1983 ZN1300 after gaining inspiration from builds I've seen on this vary site.
Modifications:
ZX11 front end.
ZX11 rear rim.
Rear mono shock. (Beefed up R6 shock)
ninja 250 gauge cluster (temporary but it works!)
Custom tail (parts from a 02 Katana)
Things that need done:
Wiring harness needs some work.
Drill and tap the CCT for manual conversion.
Cut custom spacers with lathe for rear rim.
Fix lathe
Finish cleaning out gas tank with distilled white vinegar. (Works wonders)
Relocate battery and hope 205CCA is enough!

Welcome to KZ1300.COM Nick!
I've got a similar project in the works (one of at least 100). Check out my album.
PS: If you'd like an album of your own just let me know by PM and I'll set it up for you.
Regards
Bill

I'm liking that so far
I also have the ZX-11 (called the ZZR 1100 here in Europe) front end on my ZG & it suits the bike well

KZQ, I'm thinking about that. Thank you.
Phil, I have seen your YouTube videos great job on the bike!
Also I had a question I did not see in the FAQ, How do pod filters hurt the fuel injected bikes? The air box takes up a huge amount of space that can be used for other things.

I don't see how fitting pod filters will hurt the fuel injected bikes, although the DFI system won't compensate for it. You can always fit an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to compensate anyway
