I found this bike on CR somewhere in Georgia, it was sitting outside for a year getting rotting away slowly, the engine was sized but i had to go and get it.(it was almost free)
I drove about 800 miles round trip to bring this monster to its new home, After about 1.5 years I finally got the bike running and driving with some changes.
I have more little things to do but knowing me i will never stop fiddling with this bike.

Well done! I like your intake... can you put up a few picture and explain what you've done there?

I love the gauges too. B)

Thank you for the nice comments, I was never interested in Japanese bikes only Italian bikes especially Moto Guzzi.
Than one day I see this bike on CR and for some reason I wanted to go and get it.
The engine was sized but it was just the piston rings on no 3 rusted to the cylinder wall, got it free and removed the pistons.
Bike had just under 19000 miles when i got is and as far as I could see everything else seemed to be in great shape.
At the time I couldn't find any standard size piston rings so I got KZ 650 standard rings and machined the piston ring grooves to accept the thicker rings of the KZ 650 the oil ring is same so I didn't need to machine that.
In short:
Shorten the back of the frame and powder coat black
Koni rear shocks
16" front wheel with Brembo brakes from Moto Guzzi 1000
Front end from a Moto Guzzi Le Mans 1000
Motogadget M unit and simplified all the electrical system
6 in to 2 exhaust system utilizing just the header pipes and built the rest of the system myself
Fake turbo air intake manifold, just wanted something different
ZRX 1200 faring and rear sets with rear brake master cylinder
Seat is from Moto Guzzi Le Mans 1000 modify to fit the frame
Gauges are from SpeedHut including GPS speedo
All work I did myself except the paint job that my that my friend did
I had to get used to this very heavy bike and how smooth the engine is especially after riding V twin Moto Guzzi for all this time , I do have a little carb issue that I cant solve as of yet, engine starts very easy even when hot, pulls very strong up to 6000RPM and than go through rough spot loose some power but still reach the red line, I had the carbs cleaned played with the jets, run it with the air intake and with out with the same results, plugs are showing no evidence of rich or lean mixture, next step i need to take it to a Dyno run.
