Welcome to the site for your carb work you may be interested in contacting a member on this site by the name of Scotch he makes and sells a carb cleaning tool and brass floats as well which work very well.

I have made some progress since the last pictures posted...
Tank badges are cleaned and reinstalled. I bought new Kawasaki blank keys and had them cut. Tonight I fitted the filler cap with all the correct I rings and rtv silicone on the threads so that the petrol doesn't penetrate the paint work...
Carburetor cleaned with ultrasonic cleaner, and new kits ordered from z1300.de ... I didn't have to pay the 19%VAT as it was export.... bonus
I replaced fork seals, had to make a special tool with a no 24 hex bolt... made a template with pratley putty
I had to hang the bike with ratchet straps and support it from the bottom as well... quite a heavy bike... greased the neck bearings whilst I was there.
